Tactical Task Team
When a gatehouse is not enough, a trained team arrives as a team.
Some tasks should never be given to a single officer on a 12-hour post. The KP tactical task team is selected, kitted and drilled for the jobs that sit above routine guarding: high-risk escorts, serious on-site incidents, and the first minutes of an event that is still unfolding.
The unit deploys from marked tactical vehicles with ballistic protection, communications and a command structure. They do not replace the South African Police Service — they hold, contain and protect until the lawful authority takes the scene, and they withdraw with a file, not a story.
Clients retain the team on standby, on a call-out tariff, or as a scheduled presence for known high-risk windows: payroll days, shutdowns, evictions under court order, and public events.
