The mark
Why the baobab.
The African baobab stores water through drought, shelters communities, and outlives the people who first planted it. That is the standard we took for the shield: protection that is local, patient, and structurally sound — not a costume imported from another continent’s idea of security.
KP Security Services operates from Gauteng. We guard schools and campuses, homes and estates, commercial buildings and industrial yards. We watch sites remotely, staff a live control room, deploy a tactical task team, and send armed response when the desk verifies the need.
We work within South Africa’s private-security framework, with officers trained, kitted and supervised for the posts they hold. The phone number on this site is a desk, not a marketing inbox.
How we work
Four rules we will not negotiate.
Command
Cameras, panics, officers and vehicles sit on one plot. Incidents are owned in the first minutes, not assembled afterwards.
Temperament
Schools, estates and plants need different human skills. We select for the site, then drill the rest.
Accountability
Occurrence books, inspection reports and after-action files a client can actually use — in a trustees’ meeting or in court.
People & kit
Officers you can brief. A unit you can task.
Uniform, radio, body armour and the vehicle behind them are company issue — not a suggestion. The tactical team and armed response crew train as a unit so a school gate and a plant perimeter can call the same standard of backup.
